About Dr. Moyez Ladhani

Dr. Moyez Ladhani, MD, FRCPC, FAAP is a distinguished Canadian pediatrician and educator, known for his contributions to medical education and clinical practice. He is a former Professor of Pediatrics at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, where he played a pivotal role in the expansion and development of that institution’s Pediatric Residency Program. He served as McMaster’s Program Director of Pediatric Postgraduate Medical Education for over a decade, significantly enhancing the program’s structure and reputation.

Dr. Ladhani’s leadership and innovation in medical education has been recognized by numerous awards, including the 2017 Postgraduate Medical Education Faculty Award for Excellence and Innovation in Residency Education from McMaster University; the 2016 Program Director of the Year Award from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada; and the 2016 Clinical Educator Award from the Canadian Pediatric Program Directors Research Group.

Clinically, Dr. M. Ladhani practices as a Consultant Pediatrician at Waterdown Pediatrics and Pediatric Urgent Care Clinics in Waterdown and Oakville, Ontario, respectively. He is a member of the Canadian Pediatric Society and the Ontario Medical Association, as well as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Known for his forward-thinking teaching methods and tireless dedication to his branch of medicine, Dr. Moyez Ladhani is highly regarded by students and colleagues for his evidence-based approach and professionalism.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. M. Ladhani is actively involved in community service, including his work with the Future Ready Initiative. Outside of his professional life, his interests are gardening, particularly cultivating dahlias, and travelling.
